I am the Broker/Owner of Myslicki Real Estate, an Independent Brokerage, specializing in the sale and purchase of residential real estate.  I have had my real estate license since 1989 and have been a legal assistant for real estate attorneys for over 21 years.

I have lived in LaGrange/LaGrange Park since 1973, which means that I have seen a lot of changes and know the area extremely well.  I have the knowledge and experience to help you sell or purchase a home, and save money!   

I started my Residental Brokerage Business in 1996 after earning my Brokers License.  Prior to that, I worked as an assistant to another Realtor. My original goal was to work out of my home so that I could raise my children and sell 3 or 4 homes per year. It was never my intention to open a "formal" office and have other Realtors working with me.  It just "kind of happened".  Some of the best things in life just "happen".

Each year my business grew, not by advertising, but by referrals and word of mouth.

By 2001, my business had grown so much that I needed help! I asked my sister, Kris Farraher Skummer, to obtain her license and assist me.  I was very happy that she agreed to do so.  In 2003, I moved the business from my home in LaGrange Park to our current address at 637 S. LaGrange Road in LaGrange.  

 In 2003 and 2004, I personally sold over $8.8 million dollars in real estate - with no advertisting - all by referrals of past clients!  And, in 2005 I personally sold $13.8 million, with 50 properties sold or rented -  $21.5 million in companywide sales.  I now have 9 additional Realtors on staff to better serve my clients.

I have a wonderful mix of people on staff including Missy Westerhoff, a lifelong resident who really knows the area, Janet Popp, who specializes in buyers, Felicia Wood, who as a Missouri farm owner can assist with unique properties and is a Senior Real Estate specialist. Plus Joan Lux, who was my childhood friend from St. Francis Xavier School & LTHS, and brings boundless energy and excitement to helping people with their real estate needs! 

Every year, my business continues to grow.  My philosophy is to treat people as I want to be treated - with kindness, honesty, and integrity.
